We just received a tip that the pre-election Alameda Unified School District Board of Trustees has hastily convened a meeting to rush to a decision on a replacement for Superintendent Dailey. Why the rush? Does outgoing board member David Forbes have a crony he wants to ensure gets the spot?
Our tipster tells us that the board is also trying to convene some sort of private meeting between pre-election board members and the newly elected members, which, if true, is probably illegal and in violation of the Brown Act on open meetings.
