SunCal SoCal Grief

Another one of our irregular updates on SunCal’s troubles. Riverside Rubidoux and San Clemente Marblehead.

In Rubidoux, California, SunCal bulldozed a light industrial park to make way for homes, but the land now sits idle and choked with weeds, the horse ranch and stables that used to occupy 150 acres…gone.

248 acres sit idle in San Clemente, after SunCal declared bankruptcy for their Marblehead project. The property has liens of $10 million for unpaid contractor work. SunCal has promised to kick in $650,000 for “Courtney’s Sand Castle” a project to server special needs kids, but they can’t deliver on that now.
