The East Bay Express Reports on Alameda Power & Telecom

This week the East Bay Express covers the sale of Alameda Power & Telecom’s Telecom division, and the lawsuits pending.

Note that AP&T CFO Julle-Anne Boyer was promoted from AP&T to the CFO slot of the City of Alameda, and exited just before the sale of the telecom division. Some people have suggested to us that her promotion to the City of Alameda CFO slot was so that she could cover up the financial games she played at Alameda Power & Telecom. Former AP&T General Manager Valerie Fong left just before this whole scandal blew up in 2006.
