Another SunCal Alameda Point Telephone Survey In the Works

Readers will remember the SunCal Push-Poll telephone survey which we reported on last year, here and here. SunCal eventually admitted that they conducted the survey wherein calling agents identified themselves as someone in City of Alameda government. Apparently SunCal is at it again.

We got this rundown of the survey call from our readers:

My friend was called, she thinks by someone in City Government, concerning the repeal of Measure A. The caller asked her if she wanted more and better recreation, better transportation, and an end to the contamination on Alameda Point. Nothing was mentioned about housing. My friend tried to find out who was behind the call, but the girl wouldn’t say – she was very evasive. When my friend asked the caller if this call was about Measure A, the girl said that it was about repealing Measure A.

It seems clear to us that SunCal keeps fishing for answers they want from Alameda residents, but aren’t yet getting them. If the last survey in the Fall of 2008 demonstrated a lot of support for their project, you can bet that SunCal would have been shouting it from the rooftops.
