Alameda National Night Out 2009 is August 4th

The 26th Annual National Night Out is August 4, 2009. The National Night Out website says the event is designed to: “Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; send a message to criminals letting them know that neighbors are organized and fighting back.”
