KTVZ News, an NBC affiliate in Bend, Oregon, is reporting that Alameda Assistant City Manager David Brandt has been named the City Manager of Redmond, Oregon, starting at $120,000 per year on September 14th, 2009. Let’s hope the City of Alameda eliminates not only Brandt, who was the do-nothing Acting City Manager during the March 29th FISC fire, but also his costly position on the City of Alameda’s payroll.
