Alameda Unified School District Board President Mike McMahon has written that the online survey in question is not an official Alameda Unified School District survey, but his own efforts. We will leave it to readers to evaluate that distinction. Ostensibly, the purpose of the survey is to help McMahon decide on topics for his blog posts, but it’s easy from the nature of the survey questions to see the data being used to drive board policy.
