According to a copy of the lease agreement between SunCal and the City of Alameda, obtained today by Action Alameda News, SunCal is paying $1,460 per month to lease Revitalize Alameda Point Campaign space at Alameda Point.
The lease specifies approximately 730 square feet of space in building 7, at 851 West Midway Avenue, on Alameda Point, for a base rent of $1,460 per month, beginning March 1, 2009 and continuing on a month-to-month basis. The security deposit amount is $2000.
The City of Alameda might want to increase the security deposit, as SunCal has stiffed other redevelopment agencies in different municipalities across California, including Barstow, which we reported on previously.
