Dear Editor,
I live very close to the old Base, and I would like to express that SunCal not be allowed to buy the land or whatever they are bidding. I would like someone who will actually do what they say they will do, and make sure that they actually improve and utilize the base into the beautiful place it should be. Please do not vote for SunCal. They have an awful reputation for acquiring land, and then, letting it go to waste, so that they get a tax write off. Please, as I long time Alameda resident, I implore you to make the smartest choice for Alameda, and really get our economy up and running with a great redesign of the base, and all that lovely land to be utilized by Alamedeans.
