Burdens of Proof: Iran, the U.S. and Nuclear Weapons

The Alameda Public Affairs Forum presents “Burdens of Proof: Iran, the United States and Nuclear Weapons – A Global View,” with Michael Veiluva.

Burdens of Proof, Veiluva’s new book, offers a rare and unique set of insights into the ongoing and complex political and legal implications surrounding the United States and Iranian political negotiations over Iran’s growing nuclear program.

Veiluva is general counsel to the Western States Legal Foundation, a nonprofit public interest organization that monitors and analyzes U.S. nuclear weapons programs and policies.

Saturday, Nov. 14 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Alameda Free Library, Conference Rooms A and B, 1550 Oak St. (enter via the back doors off the parking lot).

Suggested donation $5; no one is turned away.
