Alameda Firefighters and Oakland Raiders Raise over $1,000 for Meals on Wheels

Alameda Firefighters IAFF Local 689 has worked with the Oakland Raiders to support Alameda’s Meals on Wheels program. Wth the proceeds from group ticket sales and donations from Alameda citizens, the Firefighters and the Raiders were recently able to donate $1,001 to Alameda Meals on Wheels.

The Alameda Firefighters report that they are currently assisting the Alameda Food Bank on their holiday needs, as well as helping with the Local Red Cross’ Toys for Tots program.
