Alameda Democratic Club Takes a “No Position” Position on Measure B

Attendees at last night’s Democratic Club debate over Measure B are reporting to Action Alameda News that club members took a vote on whether or not to endorse Measure B and arrived at a “No Position” stance. The votes were reportedly 16 in favor of endorsing the measure, and 17 against – a majority against endorsing the measure. However, Club bylaws require a 60% supermajority for ballot initiative endorsement positions.
