PBS/Frontline is scheduled to air “The Fall of Lehman” later this month. Late last year, the camera crew shot about four hours of video interviews and footage of the damage and asbestos contamination left by SunCal after they fled the site pursuant to their financing partner’s bankruptcy filing in September 2008.
Assuming the Oak Knoll footage makes the final cut, Alameda viewers will be able to see it on Bay Area TV stations January 26th through the 28th.
One Oakland resident who was interviewed by the crew reported to Action Alameda News:
The cameramen – having filmed extensively in Iraq and Afghanistan – seemed impressed (not sure that’s the right word for it) with the destruction throughout Oak Knoll as they collected footage for the broadcast.
