Alameda Residents Record No On Measure B Videos

This weekend, a number of Alameda residents began recording videos for uploading to YouTube, explaining why they want people to vote “no” on SunCal’s Alameda Point Development Initiative, Measure B.

The videos, typically no more than two minutes in length, each figure a single person providing one or two reasons why voters should turn down the SunCal sponsored citizen’s initiative, which will enable the developer to build roughly 4,300 new homes at Alameda Point – and potentially as many as 6,000, if SunCal fully exercises the California state-law development bonuses that SunCal wrote into the development initiative.
