American Institute of Architects Discusses Alameda-Oakland Estuary Crossings Problem

The East Bay chapter of the American Institute of Architects is hosting a panel discussion and town hall forum, which will discuss the challenge of providing estuary crossing links between Oakland and Alameda.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the chapter’s offices, 1405 Clay St. in Oakland. Phil Erickson, AIA of Community Design & Architecture, Inc. will moderate the discussion. Panelists include Patricia Kernighan, Oakland city councilwoman; John Knox White, former Alameda transportation commission chair; Jeff Cambra, BikeAlameda board member and John Eddy, consultant for the estuary crossing study.

The event is free and open to the public; all are welcome to attend.
