These jokers have got to be kidding. 85% plus said NO. NO means NO! What is about the word NO that SUNCAL doesn't understand? SUNCAL ripped off Alameda after duping Mayor JOHNSON into making a ROBO call without bothering to read the fine print, or any of the terms of 288 page agreement. It scammed the signatures, forced a $375,000 special election, spent hundreds of thousands of dollars campaigning yet could not even get 1/3 of the people who were duped into signing to bother enough to vote for its concoction of greed at Alameda's expense. This would be like giving the devil an extension to try and create some temptation after being admitted to heaven after shuffling off one's mortal coil. We have had enough. Any elected official who is entertaining the slightest possibilty of running for another office and winning, better think long and hard about extending the JOHNSON, GILMORE, TAM fiasco that gave us SUNCAL. “continue our dialogue about future planning efforts at Alameda Point”?
