Preliminary Measure E Results

As of 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 23rd, the Alameda County Registrar of Voters is reporting that Measure E has 65.39% “yes” votes – short of the 2/3rds required to pass.

Yes 13,789 (65.39%)
No 7,297 (34.61%)
Total 21,086

With roughly 800 votes left to count by the Registrar of Voters, virtually all of them would need to be “yes” votes for Measure E to pass. (2/3rds times 21,886 = 14,591)
