Alameda Toastmasters Humorous Speech Contest This Wednesday

This Wednesday, September 8th, Alameda Toastmasters will hold their Evaluation and Humorous Speech contests at Alameda Hospital.

According to the Toastmasters International website, the organization is a world leader in helping people become comfortable and competent when speaking in front of an audience. There are five Toastmasters clubs that meet in Alameda, comprising Area 22 of District 57, Division A.

The contests run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. this Wednesday at the Hospital, at 2070 Clinton Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501. One need not be a member of Toastmasters to attend the contests or attend a Toastmasters meeting.
