Alameda County Property Taxes Due April 10th

The second installment of your Alameda County property taxes is due April 10th. After that date, unpaid property taxes will be considered delinquent.

Your second installment for the 2010-2011 fiscal year is due April 10th, 2011; you may pay online at the Alameda County Tax Collector website, but a 2.5% convenience fee will be charged for credit card transactions, or a flat $3.00 fee will be charged for an electronic funds transfer or e-check.

You may also pay by mail, using the coupons at the bottom of your tax bill and return envelope, or pay in person at 1221 Oak Street, Oakland. You can look up your property tax bill online at the County’s website.

According to the Alameda County 2010-11 Tax Assessor’s Annual Report, the city of Alameda has an assessed tax roll of $9.3 billion across 24,792 parcels.
