At 11:37 p.m. last night, Alameda residents received a jolt. The United States Geological Service reported a magnitude 3.6 earthquake 5.7 miles deep, about 3 miles north-northeast from San Leandro.
According to responses from the public on the agency’s site, the quake was felt from Half Moon Bay to Woodland to Point Reyes Station.
