School District Classified Employees Ratify Contract

The Alameda Unified School District announced yesterday that classified employees, represented by Classified School Employees Association (CSEA) local #27, have voted to ratify a recent tentative contract agreement.

Classified employees will get a 1 percent pay increase at the end of the current school year, and a one-and-a-half percent increase for the next school year. That increase will be limited to the 2012-2013 school year should the district receive less state funding next year.

The district board of trustees will vote to ratify the agreement next week on June 12th.
