The City of Alameda will be repairing the bicycle paths along Veterans Court, Island Drive and Mecartney Road next month.
Many sections of the bike path have been damaged by tree roots; these sections will be replaced with a paved ramp.
Construction will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday from August 6th through August 10th.
Cyclists will be diverted to the adjacent pedestrian path.
