Council Approves 20 Year Golf Course Lease with Greenway Golf Associates

At Tuesday’s Alameda City Council meeting, the council approved a 20-year lease with an option for a 5-year extension with Greenway Golf Associates, Inc. to operate the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.

Approval of the lease required four out of five councilmembers to vote “yes”; all five voted in favor.

The item was brought before the council one last time before a vote to review minor changes of language to the lease agreement.
