Alameda City Manager John Russo has appointed Elizabeth Warmerdam as Assistant City Manager for the City of Alameda. Ms. Warmerdam has been serving as the deputy city manager for the City of Hercules.

She lives in the West End of Alameda with her family, and served in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1992, achieving the rank of Captain. Ms. Warmerdam also played on the University of Rochester’s NCAA Division 3 Women’s national championship winning soccer team.
