Alameda County Industries will continue Christmas tree pickup on regular service days through January 25th. (Action Alameda News)

Alameda County Industries (ACI) offers no-charge collection of Christmas trees for residents of single-family homes. The trees are recycled, and pickup continues through to January 25th.

ACI says that trees should be free of lights, decorations, tinsel and tree stands and not wrapped in any sort of bag or plastic. Neither fake nor flocked trees will be collected.

Residents with special collection needs should contact the company to make arrangements.
