The City of Alameda, the school district, and the Alameda Police Department are sponsoring a public meeting to discuss potential improvements to the five-legged intersection at Central Avenue, Third Street and Taylor Avenue.

The goal is to improve pedestrian and bicycle crossings across the intersection, improve student drop-off and pick-up at Encinal High, reduce congestion and minimize inconvenience to residents.

The meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at the Encinal High School Cafeteria at 210 Central Avenue.
