
Alameda Unified School District Board Policy 3451 states that if any bargaining unit in the District receives a pay increase, so too shall administrative, supervisory and other personnel. (Action Alameda News)
According to Board Policy 3451, “If any bargaining unit in the District receives a compensation increase, the salary schedules of administrative, supervisory, confidential and licensed personnel shall receive the same increase.”
In March, the school district approved retroactive pay raises for teachers, as follows: 2.5% effective July 1, 2012, 0.75% effective July 1, 2013, and a one-year non-precedent setting increase of 1.25% effective July 1, 2013.
The board is also expected to ratify equivalent salary increases for certificated employees represented by the California School Employee Association bargaining units CSEA 27 and CSEA 860.
The raises are expected to cost $76,187 for the fiscal year ending this Friday, June 30th, and $287,715 for the fiscal year beginning July 1st.
