We know they love Rosenblum Cellars for great quality wines and for the warm atmosphere of our wine experience. We also know they enjoy food and wine pairings, as well as good food in general. For all of these reasons, we are excited about the new Rosenblum space and all the Oakland location will offer.”
Founded in 1978, Rosenblum Cellars was acquired by Diageo in a $105 million deal in 2008.
The firm plans to open the new center in Jack London Square in July of this year, after the lease expires on the Alameda location in June.
The Jack London Square location will make the center more accessible by BART, and will be located in close proximity to the Oakland, rather than Alameda, ferry terminal.
It was inevitable that they would mess with a good thing after Rosenblum was sold.
