AUSD School Board candidate Solana Henneberry and husband Mike Henneberry, of the City of Alameda Planning board, evidently filed for voluntary bankruptcy in 2010.
Court records show the bulk of the case activity took place in 2010, but also show actions in the case as recently as May of this year. Action Alameda News has reached out to Solana Henneberry for comment via her Facebook page but has not received a response yet.
Among the assets listed in their 2010 filing, the Henneberry’s indicated their Otis Drive home (worth $500,000), interests in IRAs and other pension plans ($13,800), their car, a 2004 Toyota Corolla ($4,805) and their dog ($50).
Solana’s husband, Mike Henneberry, is a member of the City of Alameda planning board.
Here is the February 2010 petition, with account numbers and other personal details redacted:

“The governor’s wife, Williams testified, had confided in him that she and her husband had discussed filing for bankruptcy because of mounting credit-card debt and troubled real estate investments.”
