The City of Alameda is hosting an open house for the public to meet developer finalists for two sites at Alameda Point.

The City of Alameda is hosting an open house on September 29th to give members of the public a chance to meet developer finalists for two parcels of land at Alameda Point.

So-called Site A is a 68 acre parcel and Site B is a 82 acre parcel. The development focus for Site A would be housing units, and for Site B, commercial space.

City officials say there will be no formal presentations at the open house, and that each of the four development teams – Brookfield Residential and Alameda Point Partners (Site A) and Catellus Development Corporation and Mission Bay Development Group (Site B) – will have display space and staffers on-hand to answer questions.

The City of Alameda will also have development staff available to answer questions.

The event is scheduled for September 29th, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oak Street.
