Frost Advisory in Effect to Start the New Year

High winds that toppled trees in Alameda overnight will yield to low temperatures this evening, as the National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory.
The National Weather Service is forecasting freezing temperatures across the Bay area, including Alameda, tonight through the morning of New Years Day, after the winds die down roughly mid-day today.
Thursday night will be cold again, but temperatures should warm into the weekend.
