The City of Alameda is holding a public meeting to discuss the cross Alameda trail. (City of Alameda)
The proposed trail is to run parallel and to the south of Ralph Appezzato in an abandoned railroad right-of-way, for approximately one mile.
The City of Alameda hopes to use $1.8 million in grants from the Alameda County Transportation Commission and the Federal Transit Administration and in Development Impact Fees to fund development of the trail.
The meeting is at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 10th, at City Hall West at 950 West Mall Square (Alameda Point), Conference Room 201.
