The subject of several paranormal-investigation YouTube videos, the USS Hornet Museum is offering “Haunted Hornet” tours of the ship from October 2nd through November 1st.

The WWII-era ship is purportedly haunted with the spirits of past crew members.

A museum media release promises “a tour to some of the creepy-crawly parts of the purportedly ghost-inhabited ship, as well as a trip through a terrifying maze.”

Tours run Thursday through Sunday from 7pm to late, every weekend through October.

Monsters are likely to get in close proximity to participants; consequently the tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10, and pregnant women will be turned away.

Ship-safe Halloween costumes are welcome, but ScareCo, Inc., the tour operator, promises to eject without a refund anyone who misbehaves.

Tickets are $40.

Halloween festivities at the Hornet culminate in the ship’s annual Monsters Bash on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 7:30pm to 1am.

All proceeds benefit the USS Hornet Museum.
