The platform, provided by SeeClickFix, provides online interfaces for residents to report concerns about things such as litter, illegal dumping, graffiti, damaged sidewalks, potholes, malfunctioning traffic signals and more.
The mobile interface allows users to include photographs taken with their smart phone.
The system alerts city staff as well as other residents who have requested area-specific alerts.
Residents can submit requests through City of Alameda’s website directly at http://alamedaca.gov/submit-request, where there is also a link to download the mobile application.
