Alameda Food Bank Still Needs Hundreds of Turkeys by Tomorrow

As of Wednesday evening, the Alameda Food Bank was still short several hundred turkey’s to support it’s annual Thanksgiving distribution which takes place tomorrow, Saturday.
Cindy Houts, executive director for the food bank told Action Alameda News the bank has about 550 turkeys, far short of the goal of 1,250.
The food bank is located at 1900 Thau Way, in Alameda, near the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Constitution Way.
