So says Spencer, who told Action Alameda News that she doesn’t maintain ongoing committees post election.
The approach contrasts with other elected officials and campaign operators in Alameda.
For example, Seamus Wilmot, treasurer for Alameda Save Our Schools, Committee for Measure A, filed a year-end finance statement reporting $7,732.56 in the bank; Alameda voters approved the school district’s Measure A parcel tax back in March of 2011.
School Board Trustee Solana Henneberry reported a cash balance of $1,653 in her 2014 election campaign account.
Alameda Councilmember Marilyn Ashcraft, who was elected to council in 2012 and is up for re-election this November, reported a cash balance of $2,984 for her 2016 campaign committee. Those funds rolled over from the previous year.
Former school board trustee Mike McMahon reported $372 in the bank as treasurer for the City of Alameda Democratic Club committee.
