The city-sponsored Splash Into Spring Egg Scramble is early this year, slated for Saturday, March 19th in the Crab Cove picnic area.

Pre-Scramble activities start at 10 a.m., and include a Mobile Fish Exhibit, lawn games, arts & crafts and photos with the bunny, who will pose for $3 per photo. (Bring your own camera.)

The Alameda Youth Committee will provide snacks available for purchase.

This year, there will be two Egg Hunt Scramble times, divided by ages. At 11:30 a.m., are the Egg Hunt Scrambles for walking-age to 4 year olds. At 11:40 a.m., are the scrambles for 5 to 12 year olds. Scramblees should bring their own basket to collect treats.

Free parking will be available at the Otis and Westline Drive parking lot, entailing a short walk to the Crab Cove picnic area. Pre-registration is not necessary.

In case of rain, all activities will be rescheduled for Saturday, March 26th at the same times.
