On Monday, September 19, from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., the Alameda Free Library will host a coffee cup art night for teens and adults, ages 13 and up, in the main library at 1550 Oak Street. Neither artistic abilities nor a caffeine addiction is required. Likewise, registration is not required.
Each participant will be given paper coffee cups and the freedom to create. The completed coffee cup art pieces will be displayed in the library after the event.
Library staff will supply the coffee cups, markers, paint, and other craft supplies.
A library press release announcing the event is replete with coffee puns about having “latte” fun and “espresso-ing” oneself, so be prepared.
