The committee is backing a slate of candidates for city council, the school board and the city auditor and treasurer seats.
Adding up the numbers from campaign disclosure statements available from the city website shows that the committee raised $34,500 in September, on top of $12,000 in August, bringing the reported total through to the end of September to $46,500.
Some $16,000 of the total came from firefighters union local political committees in San Francisco, Oakland, Hayward, San Jose, Sacramento and Martinez.
North Waterfront Cove LLC, the Tim Lewis Communities entity redeveloping the 22-acre Encinal Terminals parcel, was good for $5,000. Tim Lewis Communities is based in Roseville, CA.
James Falaschi, a commercial real estate developer and Chief Executive Officer of the Bay Area Regional Center, contributed $5,000. Disclosure statements filed by Alamedans United list Falaschi as “Real Estate Agent.”
Locally, Bay Ship and Yacht Company contributed $1,500.
