Alameda’s main library is hosting a data visualization workshop (Action Alameda News)
The session will provide an introduction to data visualization using free versions of Tableau and Microsoft Power BI; prior experience with applications such as Excel and knowledge of pivot tables and having worked with data in the past would be helpful.
Participation is free, and the event takes place on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the library main branch at 1550 Oak Street, in the Stafford Room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The session is for adults, ages 18 and up only. Participants should bring their own brunch and a laptop to download and use the software.
