Vacancy on City Recreation and Parks Commission

Alameda City Council will consider re-opening the Recreation and Parks Department office on Fridays.

Alameda City Council is soliciting applications from residents who would like to serve on the Recreation and Park Commission.

The Recreation and Park Commission was established to advise the Recreation and Park Director, City Council and Board of Education on all matters pertaining to the establishment and operation of community recreation programs, activities and facilities. The commission meets the second Thursday of each month, in council chambers, at city hall.

Application forms may be obtained from the City Clerk’s office, at city hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Room 380.

Forms are also available on the City’s website.

Applications are due by close of business on Thursday, February 23rd.
