Community Learning Center Schools (CLCS) has announced changes in the leadership teams at CLCS, Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC) and Nea Community Learning Center (Nea), the latter two being public charter schools.

Annalisa Moore has been appointed Executive Director of CLCS, the charter management organization for ACLC and Nea.

Moore has been the Lead Facilitator (Principal) at Nea for the past 3 years and has served on Nea’s leadership team since 2013.

Her experience includes classroom and management roles at Alameda Unified School District and The Academy of Alameda. She holds a Master’s of Education degree, a multi-subject teaching credential, and a BA in Liberal Studies with a minor in Youth Services and Administration.

The Lead Facilitator position at Nea has now been divided between Jana Chabre and Annahita Rad.

Jana has been promoted to Lead Facilitator for Nea’s K-5 Lower Village where she has held positions in both administration as the Assistant Lead Facilitator (K-5) and as a classroom teacher since 2011.

Annahita has been the Assistant Lead Facilitator for Nea’s Upper Village grades 6-12 since 2014. She will now take over the role as Lead Facilitator for the Upper Village.

At Alameda Community Learning Center, Jeremy Goodreau is the new Lead Facilitator.

Goodreau is from Texas where he graduated from Rice University with a B.A. in Kinesiology and History, and M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston.

For the past six years, he worked at a private boarding school for low-income students near Houston. He had served in many roles, most recently as the Head of Upper School.

David Hoopes is continuing at ACLC in the newly created position of Curriculum and Instruction Lead where he will be managing the schools’ instructional supervision efforts, seeking to work with Facilitators (Teachers) towards continuous growth in what they are teaching and how they are teaching it.

Former CLCS Executive Director Patti Wilczek has left after 4 years in the position.
