On Monday, the City of Alameda’s 16-member economic development task force will hold its first meeting to start generating input for the city’s Economic Development Strategic Plan (EDSP).

The first meeting is set for Monday, August 21, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A second meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 14, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Both meetings will be held at Phoenix Alameda, 2315 Lincoln Avenue, a new co-working space located across the street from Alameda’s Main Public Library.

Members of the public may attend both meetings.

The EDSP will be the City’s long-term (five to ten years) roadmap for business attraction, retention, and workforce development activities, while improving the quality of life for Alameda residents and employees.
