Workshop And Survey on City Climate Action Plan

The City of Alameda has launched an online survey, and is planning a workshop and other public outreach activities to update its climate action plan.

The short online survey asks participants about their priorities for taking action in response to climate change, and asks how much they are willing to pay for it.

The City of Alameda and Community Action for a Sustainable Alameda (CASA) are sponsoring a workshop on Thursday, October 5, to discuss the next steps for updating the City’s local climate action plan.

The workshop is slated for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 5th, at the Alameda Main Library on Oak Street.

Residents may also participate in this other outreach activities:

  • Public Utilities Board Meeting: Monday, October 16 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers (2263 Santa Clara Avenue, 3rd Floor)
  • Planning Board Meeting: Monday, October 23 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers
  • Transportation Commission Meeting: Wednesday, November 15 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers
  • City Council Meeting: Tuesday, December 5 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers
