Violent Crime Down in California, Dangerous Drug Arrests Up

Late last Friday, the California Department of Justice released the annual Crime in California Report. Across California, violent crime like murder was down in 2010, but arrests for dangerous drugs, like methamphetamine, phencyclidine (PCP) and barbiturates was up. Violent crime was down in Alameda County too.
