The Alameda Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a closed session meeting tomorrow to review Superintendent Kirstan Vital’s performance. Ms. Vital’s contract provides for annual pay increases of 3 percent, and $15,000 performance-based bonuses. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. [...] The Alameda Unified School District has scheduled a special Board of Trustee meeting for May 1st. The topic? A performance evaluation for school superintendent Kirsten Vital. In 2011, the Board approved a multi-year contract for Ms. Vital, with more than $200,000 per year in compensation, including bonuses based on performance.
