Jessica Robinson, who is competing this year as Miss Alameda in the Miss California USA pageant, has secured a $3,000 grant to boost her efforts to implement a food waste diversion program in Alameda restaurants.  On Sunday, Miss Alameda, Jessica Robinson, set up a table at the Park Street spring festival to greet fans, sign autographs, and raise money for effort to win the title of Miss California USA 2011 later this year. Miss Alameda will be signing autographs tomorrow and greeting visitors at the Park Street Spring Festival. Watch for her near the children’s play center. Earlier today, Miss Alameda, Jessica Robinson, gave the opening remarks at an event celebrating the grand re-opening of Salon Marcello in Alameda. Miss Alameda’s remarks celebrated the life of salon owner Shahla Taj. This morning, Miss Alameda Jessica Robinson opened Alameda’s Earth Day event at Washington Park with a reading and by leading a performance by Ballet Arts. On Tuesday, April 20th, Miss Alameda Jessica Robinson will host an invitation-only celebration at the Epi Center MedSpa in San Francisco. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Miss Representation, a non-profit film by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. Jessica Robinson of Alameda, who is competing as Miss Alameda this year for the title of Miss California USA, rocked the Rock Wall Wine Company in Alameda today, singing backup vocals on Lady Atlas with Peggy Day of Peggy Day and the Gypsy Knights. Jessica Robinson, who is competing as Miss Alameda for the title of Miss California USA has added local talent to her fundraiser event at Alameda Point on March 27th. On Saturday, March 27th, Jessica Robinson, who is competing again this year as Miss Alameda for Miss California USA, will hold a fundraiser event at Rock Wall Wine Company at Alameda Point.
